Accessibility statement

Pinnacle Brand Group builds this website to be usable by everyone. Last reviewed October 6, 2026.

Our commitment

We want every visitor to be able to read this site, navigate it and contact us, whatever technology they use. We treat accessibility as part of the design work, not as something bolted on afterwards.

Conformance target

This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. WCAG 2.2 AA is also the standard referenced by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and used as the practical benchmark under the Americans with Disabilities Act and California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act. We assess ourselves as substantially conformant and review the site as it changes.

What we have done

Structure and reading

Every page declares its language, has a unique descriptive title, a single first-level heading and a heading outline with no skipped levels. Landmarks — header, navigation, main and footer — are marked up semantically so screen readers can jump between them.

Keyboard

A "Skip to content" link is the first item you reach with the Tab key. Every interactive element can be reached and operated from the keyboard in an order that matches what you see, with a visible focus outline, and there are no keyboard traps. Inline controls meet the 24 × 24 pixel minimum target size.

Images and film

Every image carries alternative text, or is marked decorative where it adds nothing. The site carries two films, one at the top of each brand page. Both are silent and carry no audio track, each has a descriptive accessible name, and a visible control lets you pause either of them.

Motion

If your operating system is set to reduce motion, the site honors that: entrance animations are disabled, no film plays until you start it yourself, and the world clock bar across the top does not scroll. Nothing on the site flashes.

The world clock bar

The bar at the top of every page scrolls the date, time and weather in nine cities. A button at the right end stops and restarts it, and the setting applies for as long as the page is open. When it is stopped — or when your system is set to reduce motion, in which case it never starts — the bar can be scrolled sideways by keyboard, trackpad or touch so that nothing in it is out of reach. The bar repeats its contents twice to scroll without a seam; the second copy is hidden from screen readers so it is announced only once. Nothing on the site depends on the bar: everything in it is supplementary.

Light and dark

The site is dark by default. A control in the header, and in the menu on smaller screens, switches it to light; the two buttons are labeled in text as well as by icon, and the one in effect is marked for screen readers. Your choice is remembered in your own browser and applies to every page. Both displays meet the same contrast ratios.

Color, text and zoom

Body text meets or exceeds a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background and large text 3:1. No information is carried by color alone. Text can be enlarged to 200% and the layout reflows to a 320-pixel-wide window without horizontal scrolling.

Forms

Every field on the project form has a visible, programmatically associated label, required fields are marked, purpose is declared so browsers can autofill, and errors are announced in text rather than by color.

How we test

We test with automated tooling (axe-core) across every page and at multiple window widths, and by keyboard. Automated testing catches roughly a third of accessibility problems; the rest requires people. We are commissioning independent testing with screen-reader users, and we will update this statement with the result.

Known limitations

We are honest about what is not finished:

  • The two films have no captions or audio description. They are silent and decorative, and carry no information that is not also in the text beside them; a described alternative is on our list.
  • Independent screen-reader testing with NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver has not yet been completed.
  • Our brand sites — gordonrush.com and blakemckay.com — are separate properties and are not covered by this statement.

Compatibility

This site is built to work with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile, together with the screen readers and magnification tools those platforms support, including VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS and TalkBack. It does not rely on any browser plug-in.
